There are plenty of opportunities to hear holiday music done straight. If you prefer to hear it done crooked, silly and irreverent, check out Akron’s Missile Toe, a band that only emerges once a year around this time, which they’ve been doing for longer than we can remember.
They’ll be putting in an appearance at the Akron Art Museum lobby where they’ll play their goofy versions of popular holiday classics. The museum store will be open for grabbing some nifty, artsy last-minute gifts, and you can enjoy drinks and snacks at the museum café.
It’s free and open to all.
