Women

It’s about time women took over. Don’t you think? From Josh this week, a preview of From Women VII honoring Women’s History Month. Then from Alex, we examine the local LinkedIn flare up that caught fire nationally, partially because of the gender dynamics. Norma Rae at the Maltz should also remind us where the real power lies. CLE burlesquers Le Femme Mystique celebrates their own 10th, an encouraging sign.

So many choices this week: the VegGala, a canning workshop, and another on how to “un-crazy” your world. Storytelling Nights begin at Happy Dog, a Short Film Festival at Standing Rock, black holes & clear skies at CMNH, Carl Stone at Transformer, locks of love in Waterloo, and Celtic music at CVNP. Win a major award like our priceless Cool Cleveland t-shirt, just like B. Burdno did, just for using our mobile. Ladies, you’re up. –Thomas Mulready

DURSTIN: What’s Up With the Cavs’ Spencer Hawes & Obama Toilet Paper?
Just another reason not to cheer for the Cav’s….
Cindy Meyers

I’ve read Mr. Durstin going way back to The Tab. Surprisingly, now he is making a mad dash to the right wing…..
Sara Holliday

MANSFIELD: Putting an End to Violence at the Juvenile Justice Center
I know that Mansfield speaks of the “boys” at JJC but having been a teacher at CMSD “back in the day” fights between girls were very vicious and nasty. I am sure that the girls wing needs the same attention….
Gloria Ferris

Good ideas Mansfield. If only the county would give it a fair chance. It makes sense…
Cathryn Kapp

The idea has merit. It has worked for AA since it’s inception….
Ray Saviciunas

This sounds like a fantastic idea with no downside but there is the potential for a big win-win…..
Bill R.

Smart idea Mansfield!….
