British vocalist Polly Gibbons is new to the international jazz scene, with her sophomore album Is It Me …?, the follow-up to her 2014 debut My Own Company, just hitting the street later this month. But she’s been building her reputation back home in England for the last decade, with steady gigs at Ronnie Scott’s Club in London and U.K. tours opening to Gladys Knight and George Benson. Her music is an audience-pleasing bend of blues and R&B influences with jazz stylings.
She’ll be making her Cleveland debut at Nighttown even before her album comes out. Tickets are $20.
