Don’t just do the usual dinner thing for Valentine’s Day — enhance the evening with a little burlesque.
Burlesco at The 9’s Alex Theater downtown features an entertaining evening of diverse performers headlined by Chicago’s Ruby Spencer (pictured), Cleveland burlesque queen Bella Sin and Cleveland’s CeCe Noir, who will be joined by the cast of northeast Ohio’s longest-running burlesque troupe Le Femme Mystique.
Expect to see both contemporary and classic burlesque styles, with spectacular costuming — you may be blinded by the rhinestones, especially when Bella takes the stage! — and elegant dance movement. Craft cocktails and food will be available at Ledger Bar before and after the show, so you can make a full evening of it at The 9.
