Pretentious

That’s so not Cleveland. But copping a confident, cocky attitude might do us some good. And on Friday nights at the Literary Cafe, they might agree with us. They call themselves the Pretentious Tremont Artists.

We’ve got Yellowman at Weathervane, and don’t you luv me at Karamu, and Polka! The Movie at CMA, and Packy Malley’s Capricorn Party at House of Blues. And Bob Peck’s new show at William Rupnik Gallery is perfectly titled: “Let The Chips Fall.” Pretentious? We’re so not. But maybe we should be. –Thomas Mulready
