Cleveland gallery SPACES marks the return of New York artist Margaret Cogswell with a special kickoff affair Fri 2/3 at the Superior Viaduct venue.

Cool Cleveland has invited the five Cuyahoga County Prosecutor candidates to respond to questions in preparation for the all-important Democratic Primary on Tue 3/6. The winner of the primary will become the next prosecutor since the Cuyahoga County Republican Party has not offered a candidate.
Here are the five candidates and their answers to this week’s questions: Subodh Chandra, Stephanie Hall, James McDonnell, Tim McGinty and Robert Triozzi. For this week, we asked each of them the same set of questions:
Question A: Two upstanding members of the minority community, C. Ellen Connally and Rev. Marvin McMickle both served as grand jury forepersons in recent years, and both wrote scathing letters to Bill Mason criticizing the process as being grossly unfair to minorities. What would you do to insure fairness in the process? (please answer this question in 350 words or less)
Question B: How would you feel about a citizen’s review board? (please answer this question in 350 words or less)

The only problem is… he evidently went overboard and did too good of a job since not all of those he locked away were actually guilty. Yes, I’m back to the Michael Green case again…

The County sent a check, as it does each January 15, to bondholders for the 1990s Gateway bailout.
We’ll see this week how it has added up substantially. The latest payment means Cuyahoga County taxpayers have sent $116.8 million to bondholders since 1992 to pay for Gateway overruns…

REVIEW: 1/21/12 Take a Tour of the Greater Cleveland Aquarium Do yourself a favor — for the $100 for a family of 4 admission price — buy a nice aquarium at home and stock it with beautiful fish instead of supporting this FOR PROFIT corporate aquarium that charges prices that eliminate the middle class and lower class from enjoying. You’ll be out of there in an hour anyway…
