Artist Micah Kraus Uses Urban Relics as Raw Material in “All Falling Together” at Akron Gallery

Sat 3/3 @ 5-9PM

The work of Akron artist/educator Micah Kraus is based on the relics of the urban environment: crumbling walls, tattered signs, cracked glass, peeling billboards. He’s photographed those images and processed them as laser-etched images, painting layers of white, gold and black ink over the original image.

They’ll be on display in All Falling Together going on view at the 22 High Street Gallery next to the Uncorked Wine Bar and High Street Hop House starting Sat 3/3, during the Akron Art Walk. Akron band the Dreemers will be playing during the opening. It’s free and open to the public.
