Cleveland Print Room Members’ Work Is on Display and for Sale in “Off the Wall”

Fri 12/1@ 5-9PM

Sat 12/2 @ 11AM-7PM

Sun 12/3 @ 11AM-5PM

Some of the most talented and interesting photographers in the region support the work of the Cleveland Print Room, a combination gallery, education organization and workspace for photographers who want to do old-school film-and-handprinting photography work and don’t have their own darkroom.

So it stands to reason that the work in CPR’s fifth annual Off The Wall Members Showcase will be diverse and include some topnotch items. It’s a non-juried show to which any member may submit two prints, and visitors can buy them right off the wall where they’re displayed salon-style. You’ll find a vast range of techniques from modern digital prints to classic silver gelatin prints to arcane antique processes — or a mix of processes.

In addition, the gallery will be featuring its Multiple Exposure exhibition where the work of the young students who participate in the Cleveland Foundation-funded program will be selling their work for $20 apiece. More than 115 works will be on view and available for purchase.

The shows open Friday evening, and the CPR gallery will also be open all weekend during the ArtCraft Building sale hours Saturday and Sunday.
