BlueWater Orchestra Strings Play Concert of Pieces Inspired by the Night

Sat 2/3 @ 7:30PM

Cleveland’s BlueWater Chamber Orchestra’s next performance is dubbed “Strings After Sundown.” It’s not a reference to the fact that the concert takes place in the evening but rather that the program is made up of compositions inspired by nighttime.

Concertmaster Ken Johnston (pictured) will lead the BlueWater string section in the familiar Mozart piece Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, Antonin Dvořák’s Nocturne in B Major and Arnold Schoenberg’s Verklärte Nacht.

The concert takes place at Plymouth Church UCC in Shaker Heights. Tickets are $23. The concert is 90 minutes, played without intermission, and it’s family-friendly.
