The nonprofit Artful, located at the Coventry P.E.A.C.E. Campus, provided studio spaces for artists in the surrounding communities.
A great time to come check them out is this weekend when they host Art for the Masses, an informal art fair aimed at people who might love art and would enjoy having some in their house — and maybe support a local artist — but aren’t ready to spend big money. Around 40 artists will be on site selling unique works for less than $200: prints, drawings, older works, maybe even mini paintings the perfect size for your cozy living room. And it’s an opportunity to meet and talk to the artist while you’re buying to learn more about what they do, something that makes hanging that piece in your house really special.
The event is free to attend.
