Young musicians from Toledo and nearby southern Michigan formed a cross-state partnership in the jazz ensemble Talking Ear.

The five musicians — vocalist Estar Cohen, guitarist Daniel Palmer, pianist Benjamin Maloney, bassist Ben Rolston and drummer Travis Aukerman specialize in a combination of composed and improvised music with each musician contributing their own voice to a cohesive whole. The quintet will perform at the Bop Stop. Admission is $10.
