Advances in surgery have made many operations much less invasive, cutting down on pain and the likelihood of infection. At the next edition of the monthly Science Café at the Music Box Supper Club, learn how open-heart surgery is now becoming closed with the use of catheters.

The doors open at 5:30pm and a full menu and bar are available. The program, sponsired by CWRU and ideastream, starts at 7pm, and it’s free.
