The RNC circus has left town, and what a circus it was, especially on a surprisingly peaceful Public Square where kids (and pro-choice demonstrators) frolicked in the splash pad, religious fanatics breathed fire and brimstone from a nearby wall, people in T-shirts toting placards advertised support for or opposition to Trump or their neutrality, Dr. U.R. Awesome blew his giant soap bubbles and lines of cops stood around with nobody to arrest. The people watching was terrific!
