The RNC isn’t even in town yet, and let’s say you’re already fed up to the gills with it and looking for a politics-free space to unwind.
AsiaTown’s Negative Space Gallery, which last night contributed to the political noise level with its Art of the People political art showcase, is following it up with its Political Oasis Art Therapy event. Stop in and make some art; supplies will be available but you can bring your own. There will be workshops you can join but you can also make art on your own. And between 3 and 4pm, there’ll be a change for those who art is performance-based to get up and share. It’s free and open to all.
