Community Partnership for Arts and Culture’s Creative Intersections series brings those interested in arts and culture together for afternoons of discussion about their impact on the community.

“Bridging Divides” will address how the arts can be used to bring people together, helping people to better understand those unlike themselves at a time when a major party presidential candidate is telling us that we need to fear them and build walls to keep them out.

A panel featuring filmmaker Jakob Hohendoner (pictured), writer/performer/director Marty Pottenger, and Cleveland Public Theatre performer/director/educator Chris Seibert will talk about their work with incarcerated people, police departments, recovering substance abusers and inner-city youth.

The event also includes time for socializing and networking. It takes place at Bohemian National Hall in Slavic Village. Tickets are $25.
