SupposedSo

Sun 7/31 @ 7PM

Cleveland band Supposed So was formed in 2009 by singer/songwriter Michael McGuire to showcase his tunes, inspired by ’60s pop bands and the contemporary indie folk movement. He cites the British Invasion bands of the ’60s, Elvis Costello, and Belle and Sebastian as key influences.

McGuire released his first album in 2011 and has released multiple albums and EPs since then, claiming to have written hundreds of songs. He’ll unveil his latest at a CD release show at the Bop Stop. Americana-influenced indie rock quartet the Singular opens. Tickets are $10.
