Cleveland’s children’s show choir the Singing Angels have, in the last half century, performed all over the world, at the White House, with the Cleveland Orchestra and with musical celebrities ranging from Celine Dion to Wayne Newton to Barenaked Ladies. Generations look back on their experience as one of the most fun and rewarding things they did.
If you’d like to check them out — maybe see if your child shows an interest in joining — they’re playing their annual free matinee concert at Cain Park. Expect to hear program featuring mainstream and classic Broadway pop tunes, gospel and patriotic music and some light classical music, performed with choreographic élan.
