Cleveland-based Federation Welcomes Advance Screening of Star Trek Beyond

Star Trek Fans Beam Into an Advance IMAX Showing of “STAR TREK BEYOND” Wednesday at Regal Crocker Park!

The Federation, an international Star Trek fan organization dedicated to community service, was founded here in the Greater Cleveland area in 1984 with the direct support and blessing of Star Trek’s creator, Gene Roddenberry.

Federation President and founder Russ Haslage and crew members of the Cleveland chapter of The Federation, the USS Challenger, will be in full uniform on Wed 7/20  at Regal Stadium & IMAX Crocker Park in collaboration with Paramount Pictures celebrating Star Trek’s 50th anniversary and the official release this Fri 7/22 of “STAR TREK BEYOND.”

Even better, Wednesday only at select Regal Theaters, fans will have the chance to see “STAR TREK BEYOND” in advance of its official release as part of “Star Trek Marathon: The IMAX Experience!” The crew of the USS Challenger invites everyone to join them for this one-night-only event featuring J.J. Abrams “STAR TREK” at 4:30PM and “STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS” at 7PM.

Justin Lin’s “STAR TREK BEYOND” will be showcased at 10PM. The USS Challenger crew and representatives of Paramount Pictures will be in the theatre lobby starting at 4PM to greet Star Trek fans and talk about the new movie and other Star Trek related news.

His mother, Majel Barrett, was born and raised here in the Cleveland area. Her father, William Hudec, was a Cleveland Police Officer killed in the line of duty in 1952.
