Mon 5/9 @ 7:30PM

Are you sick of the 2016 presidential race yet? Maybe what you need is a humorous perspective on it all! That’s what “2016 A Political Race ODDyssey” at Nighttown will provide. Starting this week, an ensemble of talented Cleveland performers will offer five nights of satirical commentary on the race in song and comedy, along the lines of the long-running Capitol Steps.

Audrey Audette, Sean Cahill, Rob Gibb, Sheila Heyman, Marc Moritz, Carla Petroski, Tina Stump and Lora Workman, along with music director Tom Bonezzi, comprise the cast, performing a production put together by the Cleveland Cabaret Project, which Workman founded and heads as artistic director.

They’ll offer additional evenings of 2016-focused political satire on 5/23, 6/13, 6/27 and 7/11, just ahead of the Republican National Convention 7/18-21, which presumably will provide them with still more material. Tickets are $15.
