Slow Roll Cleveland Takes a Memorial Day Ride Through the Waterloo Arts District

The Monday of a holiday weekend like Memorial Day is usually pretty laidback for most of us. A few festivals wrap up (usually early) on Monday (check out the Tremont Greek Festival or the Berea Rib Cook-Off, if you still want to celebrate with a crowd), while some of us stay home on our patio and grill a few last burgers. (Make mine veggie).

But if you’re looking to do something relaxing and make some new friends before heading back to work Tuesday, the weekly Monday recreational bike ride Slow Roll Cleveland is not taking the holiday off. The rides take leisurely tour of a different neighborhood each week.

On Memorial Day, they’ll be gathering at the tower at the corner of Waterloo and E 156th in the Waterloo Arts District in North Collinwood. Registration begins at 6pm and the ride roll off at 7pm. Afterwards, everyone heads over to Packy Malley’s bar a half block away to socialize. It’s free.
