On Sat 6/11, Opera Circle Cleveland will be performing a fully staged production of Verdi’s popular Il Trovatore, an opera house staple, at the PlayhouseSquare’s Ohio Theatre.
To whet local opera lovers’ appetites, the 21-year-old company is hosting a party to meet the performers, hear a couple of arias, enjoy some food and drink, and even catch am art exhibit by a noted Cleveland artist.
It takes place at the elegant Tregoning & Co gallery at the 78th Street Studios where you can see the show of work by the late Cleveland artist/educator Anthony Eterovich, who painted Cleveland cityscapes extensively. There’ll be a cash bar and Mediterranean food from Constantino’s Catering. It’s a suggested $20 donation.
