The Music Box Supper Club has a new thing going on that they’ve dubbed “Late Night Lounge,” a cabaret series featuring a couple of entertainingly outrageous local performers.
To start, there’s Jessica Horvat, better known as the beehived retro queen Lounge Kitty. Her show “Confess Your Sins. 2nd Act: Repent!” will contain plenty of risqué material and is for adults only. She’ll not only be performing, she’ll also be doing palm reading, personalized horoscopes and giving lovelife advice — most likely while telling you all about hers. Audience members will be invited to confess their sins onstage and then do penance as suggested by Lounge Kitty and her pianist/accompanist Megan Constantine. And if that makes you hungry, the kitchen will be open until midnight with a special late-night menu. The performance is free.
Next week Stella Brickhouse will take over the stage and bring her brand of campy cabaret.
