Kids’ Days at the Cleveland Zoo Feature Two Days of Special Activities

KidsDay

Sat 5/28 & Sun 5/29 @ 10AM-7PM

It’s not that the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo isn’t kid-friendly every day of the year. But it’s exceptionally kid-friendly during the Cleveland Clinic Children’s Kids Days weekend when there’ll be a plethora of special activities, games and programs designed to make the visit a fun and educational one.

Kids (and their parents) can enjoy demonstrations with lions, cheetahs, bears elephants, rhinos and sea lions (in a newly renovated exhibit) to learn more about these creatures and how they live and thrive. But there’ll also be fun stuff like an interactive gaming zone, crafts, costumed characters, a DJ dance party and a BMX thrill show. There’s even a “Touch-a-Truck” chance to get to know some of the zoo’s heavy equipment.

There are all the regular attractions too, including Professor Wylde’s Live Animal Show, the Circle of Life Carousel, the Nature Discover Ridge play area, and much more — all of it for only $14.25 for adults, $12.25 for seniors 62 and older, $10.25 for kids 2-11 and free for those under 2 and zoo members. Parking is free.
