You could just go out and drink on Cinco de Mayo, a Mexican holiday which in recent years has been adopted by American bars as an excuse to promote partying. Or you could go have some drinks and Mexican food and help some furry friends at Cinco de Meow at the Clifton Wine Bar.
The celebration will feature a taco and guacamole bar — vegan and vegetarian-friendly! — margaritas and margarita martinis, raffle baskets and a 50/50 raffle. It will also feature a roomful of fellow cat lover totally onboard with the two rescue groups the evening benefits which provide shelter, food, medical care and fostering to cats in need: Tails from the City and Lucky Paws Animal Rescue.
