Get Your Bicycle Blessed & Learn About Bike Safety @TrinityCleve

Pair of Red Bicycles with White Baskets

Sun 5/8 @ 9AM

With 2016 being Cleveland’s “Year of Sustainable Transportation,” lots of people are thinking about bicycling. That includes Trinity Cathedral, located downtown on the campus of Cleveland State University, with its large population of students ripe for traveling on two wheels.

For all cyclists out there, it’s hosting its very first annual “Blessing of the Bicycles” service. You can bring your wheels to its usual family-friendly 9am service and get it blessed. Following the service at 10am, there’ll be a bike rodeo in the parking lot, co-sponsored by Bike Cleveland. Understanding that common sense is as important to safety as divine protection, it will feature basic handling advice and biking tips for riders of all ages and skill levels. It’s free and open to all.
