Enjoy Four Days of Greek Food & Culture at the Tremont Greek Festival

GreekFesti

Thu 5/26-Mon 5/30

Immerse yourself in four days of Greek food and culture at the Tremont Greek Festival, one of several area summer Greek festivals and the largest. Follow the shining golden domes to Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church right off the freeway.

There you’ll find the church hall and its parking lot filled with vendors and performers. What you won’t find is funnel cakes and classic rock tribute bands. The food is made by members of the congregation from traditional Greek recipe, handed down generations. The dancers, singers and musicians perform their country’s music in traditional Greek folk costumes.

And the 104-year-old Byzantine church will be open for tours throughout the weekend; you don’t want to miss checking out its lavish interior. The festival opens at noon each day and continues until midnight Friday through Sunday and 9pm Monday. It’s free.

Check out the online festival program for a full schedule of activities, performers and menu.
