Each year, northeast Ohio burlesque troupe Le Femme Mystique pays tribute to Cleveland’s legendary downtown burlesque house the Roxy with its Roxy Remembered show. This year’s focus will be on classic burlesque in the style of the Roxy’s halcyon years.
Ryan Zymler will host a show that will features performances by Detroit’s sultry pinup model-turned-burlesque-performer Leena Allure, and Clevelanders Bella Sin (in her final performance before taking a pregnancy leave), Noella DeVille, Sable Champagne, Kinsey Quake, Marley Teenie and Ellie St. Cyr. It will also feature the debuts of Cleveland Burlesque Academy studnents Bee Awkward, Miss Holly Grail, Vina Negrita, Gloria Dame, Lady Marguerite and CrissCross. Also on the bill: drag queen Veranda L’Ni who recently represented Cleveland at the Austin Drag Festival.
General admission tickets are $15 in advance, $17 at the door. Reserved seating is $20; VIP is $30. It takes place at the Beachland Ballroom, and will be the last show for the group before its 6th annual Ohio Burlesque Festival in 8/4-6.
