Fri 6/3 @ 6-10PM

Judith Salomon & William Brouillard influenced many young artists during their long time on the ceramics faculty at the Cleveland Institute of Art. Both were professors there for more than 35 years, influencing generations of young students, and now both are retiring, planning to focus fulltime on their studio practices.

In honor of that occasion, Brick Ceramic + Design Studio is opening a show in its gallery called Kudos, dedicated to the work of the duo.

“Bill and Judith have touched the lives of so many people,” says the gallery. “Their expertise and craft is exceptional and BRICK is honored to be presenting their work in our gallery. Please join us in celebrating these profound artists.”

There’ll be an opening reception/party from 6-10pm during this month’s Walk All Over Waterloo. They’ll have food, drinks and a cake by Milk Glass Cakes but are inviting people to bring snacks and drinks if they choose to make things more festive. To make things REALLY festive, they’re encouraging people to come in black tie. The show closes with another reception Fri 7/1.
