Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens, which opened for the season last week, was bequeathed to the citizenry of Akron by one of the founding families of Goodyear Tire. Its beautiful manor house and other buildings and its lush grounds and gardens are, on most days, for people to enjoy — a great place to go with your family.
But on Sundays, there’s another member of your family who is welcome there – your dog. The “Woof Walks” take place every Sunday from 10am-dusk (last admission 4:30pm) through 10/30, except 5/8, 6/19 and 10/9. Dogs must be leashed and be sure to bring a pooper scooper and bag! There’s a $5 fee per dog in addition to regular admission. Members and their dogs are free.
