New York-based Latin jazz percussionist/composer Bobby Sanabria has become virtually an honorary Cleveland. He returns every summer to be artist in residence at the annual Roberto Ocasio Latin Jazz Camp (July 3-8 this year), honoring his late friend and former classmate at Berklee College of Music. And he’ll join the Cleveland Jazz Orchestra this Saturday at the Ohio Theatre for a program devoted to Latin jazz.
Tonight though, he’ll be at the Bop Stop for an evening with three of Cleveland’s finest jazz musicians: pianist Jackie Warren, bassist Peter Dominguez and sax player Dave Kaspar. Admission is $15.
