Are you a poet — budding or experienced — who’s got a piece you’ve been working on that doesn’t feel quite right? Bring 10 to 15 copies of this work you’re struggling with, along with some extra paper, down to the Shaker Heights Public Library. There, local published poet Susan Grimm will be leading a free workshop called Vital Signs: First Aid for Poems, sponsored by Literary Cleveland. The group will examine the poems presented, while Grimm lead it in a discussion of how to dig into the meat of a poem to discover the best way to express an idea.
