Northeast Ohio-based pianist Angelin Chang is the head of the keyboard studies program at Cleveland State University. But she’s also a world-class performing artist with a Grammy to her credit who served as artist in residence at the Kennedy Center in D.C. and performed all over the world. The Indiana native is also a lawyer with a degree from the Cleveland-Marshall School of Law. (She teaches law at CSU in addition to music).
This accomplished artist will be playing a concert called Artsong which promises to be intriguing. She’ll perform with video projection artist Kevin Jackson, at a show presented by the Lorain Historical Society Lorain’s new eclectic arts festival FireFish, which will have its second annual event in September. The performance will be followed by a reception and lighting refreshments. It takes place at the Lorain Historical Society’s Carnegie Center. Tickets are $35.
