GeaugaEarthDay

Sat 4/23

There’s no dearth of places celebrating Earth Day, which actually occurs on April 22.  So a lot of events are taking place the next day.

The Geauga Park District is hosting its first-ever Earth Day extravaganza from 11am-3pm at Frothing Meadows in Bainbridge Township (16780 Savage Road). There’ll be all kinds of opportunities to get close to and learn about nature including a live birds of prey show, bird and insect walks, tree and wildflower planting, bird banding, speakers and informational displays. There’ll also be refreshments and tree and wildflower giveaways. It’s free; no registration is required.
