The 2731 Prospect Gallery opens two new shows today, although the official artists receptions will be next Fri 4/1 @ 6-9PM
Cutting Edge: New Works in Collage features the work of four artists — Andrew Raz of Medina, OH, Adrienne Slane of Chesterland, John Hundt of San Francisco and Leigh Wells of Emeryville, CA — who create collages using distinctive techniques and processes including digital tools.
The Foreign Exchange Photo Competition was founded by Cleveland photographer Brandon Juhasz as a way to connect with photographers from around the world. He assembled a jury that included northeast Ohio photo collector/curator Laura Ruth Bidwell, Andy Adams, editor at FlakPhoto, and Katherine Oktober Matthews, a Netherlands-based writer, editor and photographer, who picked six winners from among the 350 entries. The work of those six will be featured at 2731 Prospect.
Both shows run through 4/30.
