The Inaugural Exhibition of the Foothill Galleries

Foothill Galleries of the PhotoSuccession opened in 2016 on Cedar Hill — the first foothill of the Appalachian Mountains — in the splendid Cedar-Fairmount district of Cleveland Heights. Founded by Michael Weil, a life-long Clevelander and photographer who holds a camera reverently, a PhD in art history from CWRU terminally, and the rapt attention of students he teaches adjunctly at the Cleveland Institute of Art. The gallery offers an intimate setting for the celebration, display, and discussion of camera work.
