Snag a free ticket to a screening of Touched With Fire, a new film about a love affair between two bipolar poets, played by Katie Holmes and Luke Kirby. It was executive produced by Spike Lee and directed by Paul Dalio, who has bipolar disorder, and addresses the issues faced by people with this condition.
It will be screened at Case Western Reserve University’s Strosacker Auditorium, sponsored by CWRU and the University Hospitals Department of Psychiatry and the CWRU School of Medicine. After the screening there will be a panel discussion and audience Q&A featuring experts who have worked with those with bipolar disorder including Dr. Joseph Calabrese, John R. Climaco, Danette Conklin, Scott Kuhn and Loree Vick.
Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis — just show up. About 500 tickets are available.
