Clarinetist Eric Seddon will lead a sextet of Cleveland musicians who comprise Eric Seddon’s Hot Club to celebrate Mardi Gras at BluJazz Akron. The ensemble, which also features bassist Gene Epstein, drummer Bill Fuller, pianist George Foley, trumpet player Jim Davis and banjo player/guitarist Bob Fuller plays (appropriately) New Orleans-style jazz, shot through with blues and soul influences.
You’re invited to dress up, wear masks and beads and get ready to eat, drink and make merry. Admission is $12.
