The @CleSeedBank Hosts Its First Seed Swap of 2016

SeedSwap

Sat 1/30 @ 2-4PM

Yes, it’s still the middle of the winter, but if we know you farmers and gardeners out there, you’re already browsing seed catalogues and making your wish lists. So it’s never too soon for the Cleveland Seed Bank to host its first seed swap event of the 2016 growing season.

All growers are invited come down to St. John’s Episcopal Church in Ohio City, bring seeds to share or just bring yourself to listen and learn. If you know have no seeds or even if you know nothing about the whole concept of seed saving, come anyway. You’ll learn all about it and meet people who have been doing it and will share what they have — heirloom seeds, rhizomes, roots, tubers — to get you started. People are invited to also bring sourdough starters, cheese and yogurt cultures, kefir grins and kombucha scoby to share.

The event is free and open to anyone.
