In December, the Community Partnership for Arts & Culture (CPAC) announced the 40 winners of its 2016 Creative Workforce Fellowships, $15,000 grants given to creators working in all areas of the arts, including dance, literature, music, visual arts, theater and even some areas that defy description, combining different aspects of the arts.
CPAC is feting the honorees with a public party at the new Near West Theatre facility in Gordon Square, at which each artist will do a brief presentation about their work and people interested in Cleveland’s creative community can meet and mingle.
There’ll be food and drinks, followed by an awards ceremony in the theater, and then more drinks and dessert and a chance to hang out with people who are helping make Cleveland an arts mecca. Tickets are $25 and include light food, two drink tickets and dessert. Go here to register.
