Food and music with a tropical flavor are on the menu at the Beachland Tavern’s Exotica dinner. Imagine you’re in a 1950s tiki lounge when you chow down on chicken kabobs and mango crispy pork belly with coconut curry rice (Vegetarian option available). Meanwhile, DJ P Stoops will be bathing the room in the sounds of oddball old lounge records that would be right at home in that tiki bar: bossa nova, Hawaiian tunes and whatever else he has dredged up from old bins of vinyl.
It’s $28 in advance, $32 at the door, and you can reserve a four-pack table in advance for $100.
