The True North Big Band, based at Shefield Lake’s True North Arts Center, has been together just a couple of years, although musical director Eric Dregne has been leading ensembles around the area for 25 years. But they’re already landing area gigs playing both big-band classics like “Take the A Train,” along with big-band charts of Latin, funk and rock tunes as well.

Dance or just listen when the group performs at BOPSTOP. Admission is $10.
