The Festival of Trees, the annual display of Christmas trees sponsored by different area organizations and businesses and put together by local designers, was always a big attraction at the old Cleveland Play House.
Now the Cleveland Play House is bringing the trees back to its new home at PlayhouseSquare. Its lobby at the Allen Theatre will be glowing with more than 20 trees, each one with a distinctive theme and design. And there will be a special “Memory Tree” on which visitors can hang a Share-a-Memory paper ornament with a favorite holiday memory written on it.
Viewing the trees is free. They’ll be on display Wed-Fri @ 5-pm, Sat @ 11am-9pm and Sun 11am-6pm through 12/24. In addition, they’ll be open for public viewing Mon 12/21 and Tue 12/22 @ 5-9pm and Wed 12/23 @ noon-9pm.
