Jessie Cope Miller graduated from the highly regarded musical theater program at Baldwin Wallace, many of whose graduates go on to work in New York. And so did she for a while, even appearing in an Off-Broadway show.
She returned to Cleveland, however, and has appeared on such area stages as Porthouse Theatre, Great Lakes Theater and Cain Park. And she’s been a regular participant in Bill Rudman’s Musical Theater Project and its series of The Song Is You! presentations honoring 20th century American popular music composers.
She’s put together her own “slightly tipsy” Soulful Holiday Cabaret, featuring pianist Rob Kovacs and special guests. She’ll bring her sassy, humorous style to jazz, rock, soul, pop and show tunes to Nighttown.
