Wed 11/25 @ 7PM

Conor Standish is known primarily as the vocalist for the Burning River Ramblers whose catchy, languid rock/reggae/folk/blues fusion, sliced into songs tailor-made for partying and/or mooning over a boy/girlfriend to, is popular with college and post-college crowds. Clevelander Standish formed the band when he went down to Athens, Ohio to go to school at Ohio University. That band has released a couple of albums, including 2013’s To Color a Fool, and Standish won the 2012 national John Lennon Songwriting Contest for “Stranger on the Street” from the band’s debut album.

Standish apparently has too much creativity to be contained in a single project. He’s now releasing his own EP Front Porch Lights, which he funded through Indiegogo and recorded in San Francisco earlier this year. He’ll debut it at the Music Box Supper Club with Polars opening.

Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door.
