The Voices in the Valley series at Peninsula’s G.A.R. Hall brings in a lot of touring blues/folk/bluegrass/roots music artist to its rustic 19th century venue. But one of its most popular events is its Blues Gathering with a four-pack of local singer/songwriter/guitar players. It features four hard-working locals who generally perform on stages by themselves: Austin Walkin’ Cane Charanghat (pictured), Jon Mosey, Kristine Jackson and Mike Lenz. Sharing the stage and complimenting each other’s repertoire with added guitar work and harmony vocals should give their songs a little extra zing.
It’s $15 in advance, $18 at the door.
