There’s nothing funny about the escalating attacks on women’s reproductive freedom that aim to clip their wings, limit their life options and send them careening back into the 19th century. But sometimes you have to laugh anyway.
You can do so AND support Ohio women’s right to make the choice that’s right for her at Comedy for Choice at the Nash in Slavic Village. The event features Columbus-based comedians Dustin Meadows and Lauren Bencaz. Meadows has a degree in popular culture from Bowling State so naturally his act is full of pop culture references, while Bencaz riffs on what it’s like to be in your 20s, trying to figure out how to be an adult. For women, that is easier when you have control over your own body.

Tickets are $25, benefiting the great work of NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio in fighting to assure that women’s choices aren’t limited by their socio-economic status. And there’s also free bowling!
