Multi-National @AutanaTrio Plays @PilgrimAlive Church for Arts Renaissance Tremont Series

Autana

Sun 10/4 @ 3PM

The Autana Trio is a brand new chamber music group — REALLY new. The members met in August 2014 when they participated in the Advanced Piano Trio Program at the Cleveland Institute of Music. Cleveland was the meeting point for these young musicians from all over the world: pianist Yuri Noh from South Korea, cellist Anna Hurt, a Clevelander, and violinist Ruben Rengel from Venezuela, all of whom are recent graduates of or are pursuing degrees at CIM.

Despite being in its infancy as an ensemble, the Autuna Trio has already performed in the New York and Detroit areas, as well as around Cleveland, starting to accumulate praise for the music they produce: They were bronze medalists in the 2015 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition.

Who knows where their career could go? Check them out early when they perform at Pilgrim Church UCC in Tremont as part of the Arts Renaissance Tremont series. They’ll e playing Beethoven’s Trio in B flat major and Shostakovich’s Trio No. 2 in E minor.

It’s free; a freewill offering will be taken.
