TasteOfHudson

Sun 9/6 @ noon-8PM

Mon 9/7 @ 11AM-6PM

In the 10 years that the Taste of Hudson has been going on, about 30,000 people annually have shown up in downtown Hudson to sample the wares its vendors has to offer. The organizers are predicting that this year, its 11th, it will attract 35,000, and they may not be far off, given that beautiful weather is predicted for the Labor Day holiday weekend.

Two dozen restaurants, caterers and other food providers — many of them, such as One Red Door, Downtown 140, 3 Palms Pizzeria & Bakery and Peachtree Southern Kitchen & Cocktails, local to Hudson — will be participating, offering taste-sized portions with pre-loaded cards available for purchase. The food choices include Mexican, Indian, Thai, Japanese, Middle Eastern and of course, good old American.

Taste of Hudson will also feature more than 60 bands and musicians on seven stages as well as a fine art and craft fair, a luxury auto show and Little Tykes Land, with a kids’ play area, face painting, crafts, yoga, interactive dancing and drumming, and performers of all types.

Admission to the festival is free.
