Are you in the mood for some glorious noise? The Happy Dog has booked some bands that can do it up right.
Queen of Hell assembled for the 2013 Lottery League, which threw together musicians who had never worked together before for a single performance. After each Lottery League a few bands have stuck around, and Queen of Hell was one of them. Their over-the-top heavy metal parody was underpinned with some pretty solid music and Cleveland’s a sucker for metal, tongue-in-cheek or not.
Murderedman doesn’t play out all that often, and they’ve been on a long break, working up some new material. But this three-and-a-half-year-old band of underground scene veterans is well worth catching for the way they twist seeming sonic disarray into something that ultimately makes sense.
Also on the bill is the yammering, cacophonous Cleveland quartet Fertile the Drip, who will likely make the most disconcerting noise on the bill.
Admission is $5.
