Healthy Kids Challenge Day @GoCMNH Offers Good Health Guidelines and Fun

Sat 9/5 @ 10am-4pm

A child can’t learn if he or she doesn’t feel well. So a bunch of community partners in the health care field, including the Cleveland Clinic and University Hospitals, have come together to kick off the school year with Healthy Kids Challenge Day at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History.

The event will feature a series of stations where kids can learn about and participate in activities relating to things like eating well and being more active. They can earn a stamp on their “passport” with each completed activity and win prizes.

Get there early though. The day starts off with a live animal program in the Murch Auditorium followed by welcoming remarks from 11th district congresswoman, Rep. Marcia Fudge who has made fighting for more access to healthy food a particular cause of hers.

It’s free with regular admission: $14 for adults, $10 for kids and seniors, under 2 free.
